Benvenuto! Bienvenido! Bienvenue!

I am Jenifer.  I am your typical twenty-something with a quit-my-corporate-job-and-went-to-culinary-school backstory.  I recently took a trip to Italy to explore a different part of this world through food, travel, and culture.  But I came home learning so much more.

I was able to rediscover what I love.  I love to cook, bake, dance, drink equal proportions of coffee and wine, eat fruits and vegetables, take field trips to the grocery store, stare at gorgeous food photos, research recipes, watch cooking programs, and spend hours sitting at the dinner table and eating with family and friends.  It’s basic and simple, but fun and exciting all at the same time.

Being back home in Jersey, I am now on a mission to extend my loves to all of you.  Based on the principle that whole foods fill our tummies and our hearts, the recipes and tidbits found here are inspired by fresh, local, seasonal ingredients, fellow foodies, and my travels.  Hope you have as much fun with it as I do!
